Hood Safety is paramount at Suncoast Automotive Performance. There are many hoods to choose from but most have not been through the rigorous testing that Suncoast has used to verify design aspects of our Suncoast Creations hoods.
Suncoast Automotive Performance has verified safety design features at OEM test facilities in Detroit.
Below is a series of stills of one of our functional ram air hoods undergoing crash test. All Suncoast Creations hoods feature crush zones just like OEM metal hoods so that in the unfortunate situation of a crash, your Suncoast hood will fold similar to the original equipment designed for your car and its safety systems such as air bags, safety glass, crumple zones, etc.
